Mrs. B.R. Cant- tea rose

Mrs. B.R. Cant is the ultimate easy rose for Florida. Bred by Benjamin Cant of England in 1901, it is a tea rose.

Tea roses were first bred in England in the 1830’s and are the ancestors of hybrid tea roses. The tea roses fragrance and large size were inherited from its ancestor, Rosa gigantean, a species rose native to Burma. The tea roses ever blooming quality came from its other ancestor, the Rosa chinensa, or china rose a year-round bloomer, Mrs. B reliably produces, very double, dusky pink, cabbage like blossoms. It has a sweet, deep fruity scent.

Our bushes of Mrs. BR Cant growing on their own root often have over a hundred blossoms, making an incredible statement in the garden.

Requiring NO spraying, Mrs. B.R. Cant definitely can!
